Another accolade for Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Andamans

taj-spaOccupying 46 acres on the famed Radhanagar Beach at Havelock Island, the recently launched Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, Andamans is a luxurious gateway to a globally significant biodiversity hotspot in the Bay of Bengal. Fringed by strip of mangroves and a river overlooking the beach, the resort is a homage to the secluded Andaman and Nicobar archipelago stretching for 700 kms from the southern tip of Burma towards the north of Sumatra; a magical medley of rainforests, national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, unspoilt beaches and ancient tribal cultures.

The resort is sensitive to the fragile eco-system of the virgin island and is the group’s first ‘Zero single-use plastic hotel,’ limiting its carbon footprint.

It has now bagged the highly sought after place on Condé Nast Traveller UK’s annual Hot List. In line with the company’s reputation of pioneering new destinations, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Andamans is the first luxury resort to open in the Andaman Islands; putting the relatively undiscovered archipelago on the global map.

Condé Nast Traveller UK states that ‘no one can fail to be impressed’ by the resort. The Hot List is one of the most authoritative and influential travel lists in the world; drawn up by the industry’s most distinguished writers and experts.
