Kerala to be Rebranded as a ‘Land of Adventure’

radhanagarbeachThe tourists of this era prefer more adventure and exploration of hills, waterfalls and forests. Taking this into consideration the State aims to rebrand itself as a ‘Land of Adventure’ in order to attract new gen tourists’’ said Mr. Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism, Kerala.

“Since the interest of travellers tilts towards adventure tourism, activity related tourism will help the State to achieve targets of domestic and international tourist arrivals,” said Mr. P. Balakiran, Director, Kerala Tourism.

A 100 percent increase in the arrival of foreign tourists and a 50 percent increase in local tourists is the target of the State for the next five years.

In the silver jubilee edition of SATTE-South Asia’s leading travel and tourism exhibition, Kerala Tourism presented unexplored tourist destinations to gain popular interest.
